Rebecca Tran is a lawyer practicing exclusively Family Law. The firm handles divorce, legal separation, custody and visitation, spousal support, child support and complex property division cases. Rebecca Tran has been a practicing attorney in Santa Clara County for 14 years. The office serves Santa Clara County, including Palo Alto, Los Altos, San Jose, Los Gatos, Mountain View, Saratoga, Monte Sereno, Santa Clara, Campbell, Milpitas, Gilroy, Morgan Hill, Cupertino and Sunnyvale.
Rebecca Tran serves as Judge Pro Tem in Superior Court at mandatory settlement conferences. She is on the Santa Clara County Bar Association Judiciary Committee, which evaluates judicial candidates at the request of the California governor. She is a graduate of Smith College and the University of California, Davis, School of Law.
She is a member of the Vietnamese American Bar Association of Northern California and a volunteer for Maitri. She served for two years on the Board of Managers of the YMCA of Santa Clara Valley, Central Branch and the Santa Clara County Women Lawyers Committee. Before opening her own practice she spent six years at the firm McManis Faulkner where she was lead associate attorney on a number of high-asset divorce cases. Before becoming a lawyer she was a reporter for the Gilroy Dispatch.

The firm represents clients in both contested divorce and mediated divorce. A divorce is contested when the issues are tried in court. The spouses in a mediated divorce jointly hire Rebecca as the sole lawyer to assist them in filing all necessary papers, negotiating and drafting an agreement without bringing issues to the court.
In her free time, Rebecca enjoys reading, investing, running, yoga and scuba diving.
